Abstract

PT Pupuk Sriwidjaja Palembang, which was founded on December 24, 1959, is a company that aims to implement and support government policies and programs in the field of fertilizer industry and other chemical industries, through production, trading, service provision and other businesses. Pusri-1B was inaugurated on December 22, 1994 by President Soeharto. Pusri-1B uses a Distributed Control System computer system. PUSRI IB's capacity is 1,150 tons of Urea per day or 380,000 tons of Urea per year. Hazard Identification and RiskAssessment (HIRA) is a method usedto analyze and identify a hazard based on the severity and likelihoodof the hazard occurring, the use of the HIRA method in this study is due to its advantages, namely to identify and analyze the potential for a hazard in a location or environment. to be given a value of how big the chance of an accident occurring (Darmawan, 2017). The HIRA method "is carried out based on the identification of hazards present in each implementation activity & based on hazard analysis in field operations, different from other methods, one example of which is HAZAD because this method only identifies hazards at each work location.
