Abstract

Work stress is the pressure given by workload which impacts someone physically and psychologically. The purpose of this research is to see whether there’s a relation or not between workload and work stress. The research uses the quantitative method. Aspects of workload are internal and external factors. Aspects of work stress involve physical, psychological, cognitive, and interpersonal relationships. The location of the research is PT Berlian Maju Motor. The population is 92 people and the sample is 37 permanent employees using Purposive Sampling. Data were obtained through a Google Form questionnaire. Classic assumption test was done using Normality Test and Linearity Test continued on hypothesis test by using Pearson Product Moment Test. The research finds that there’s a significant relationship between workload and work stress with scores of 0,837 and a significant 0,000 which indicated there’s a very strong relationship between workload and work stress.
