Abstract
Rea Motor Workshop is a business engaged in automotive and two-wheeled vehicle services that sells parts or components of the vehicle itself. Currently, the Rea Motor Workshop business does not yet have a good work area and does not have a Standard Operating Procedure to apply, seen from the lack of arrangement of the goods used, the tools scattered on the floor, to the idle time performed by mechanics. One way to fix this problem is to apply the 5S Method and Standard Time with the aim of creating a cleaner and neater work environment and mechanics can work effectively. To calculate the standard output, it is obtained from the length of working hours divided by the standard time. For the results obtained before light service repairs with 16 jobs, replacing spare parts 15 jobs, and changing oil 42 jobs. Meanwhile, after the repair, the results of light servicing were 18 jobs, replacing spare parts 16 jobs, and changing oil 50 jobs. This means that there is an increase in employment that occurs in the three categories after the improvement is financial.
