Abstract

water use very high frequency along with the development of technology and population growth. improvement of human living standard higher environmental problems related to water quality due to chemicals. nutrition, leachate, oil spills, hazardous waste disposal, as well as the use of materials dispossable and non-biodegradable. the development of technology resource produced a revolution resulting in more material and chemical compounds. identified a number of compounds that have the potential threats to environmental organism. the purpose of this study is to identify the waste water treatment techniques by combining two properties in reducing wastewater membrane. the method used is a review of some of the source of literature by studying the literature prior to the few studies that have done. conclusions from the study suggest that the membrane has been very promising and a lot to do in the process with the principle of the separation and purification of water. membrane technology could be a solution in wastewater treatment along with the development of membrane can be combined (hybrid process) using various type of membrane namely ultrafiltration, microfiltration, nanofiltration and reserve osmosis, but be aware of the operational conditions of the process.
