Abstract

In the business world, especially car repair shops, success is a satisfaction in achieving a set target, both short term and long term. Mr. car variation workshop. The ceiling has car leather upholstery painting services and problems have been found, such as the color of the leather seats being dull, so it needs to be repainted. Another problem that was found was that there was no standard color composition for the leather car seat paint in the Mr.Plafon car variation workshop. based on the existing problems, it is necessary to make improvements to the process of mixing car leather seat paint colors by making a dose using the PDCA system as the main method. Plan is an activity to determine the theme, set targets, analyze the causes of problems and plan improvements. Do is an activity related to implementation. Check is the evaluation of improvement results and Action is to set standardization. Another method used is the experimental method which is carried out by testing the color dose using the ANOVA and Tukey methods to get the cream color dose. Based on the test results, the standard cream color composition for BMW cars is white 69 ml, yellow 14 ml, red 10 ml, and black 7 ml with a paint color mixing process time of 6.1 minutes while Mercedes-Benz cars for white color 55 ml , 20 ml yellow, 20 ml red, and 5 ml black, with a paint color mixing process time of 5.7 minutes.
