Abstract

South Sumatra Province which is a region which is and will continue to experience rapid growth in various fields, especially in the areas of service. It is making a lot of people of Palembang and the people who visit the city of Palembang difficulty in knowing the district office locations spread across the city of Palembang. Thus, it needed an information system that serves as a guide and to facilitate Palembang residents know the location and information office district in the city of Palembang. One way that will be applied by researchers in providing solutions to society Palembang is to implement "Geographic Information Systems Distribution District Office in Palembang" .In making this application, researchers used a waterfall model of system development methodologies, software development UML (Unified Modeling Language) as well as the programming language PHP and the database is MySQL. By searching for the location of the office layout district located in the city of Palembang use google MAPS unit testing was done by using whitebox. This application is expected to help the community and visitors in the city of Palembang in searching the location of the office district and sub-district information.
