Abstract

Background : Hemodialisa therapy is undertaken by the kidney failure patients has the effect that also has direct influenced on the psychological aspect. That condition would certainly cause decreased the quality of life of hemodialisa patients . Nurse caring behavior is an act, attitude and care on a patient in the form of positive encouragement and support for patients. Nurse caring that imbued with Charitas Spirituality includes Love, happy, simple, sacrifice, prayer and joy applied to deal with fear and anxiety of patients that can improve the quality of life of patients Objective : The objective of this study is to determine the correlation of nurse caring behavior that imbued with Charitas Spirituality toward the quality of life for hemodialisa patients at RS. RK. Charitas Palembang. Method : This study uses an analytical method with cross sectional design and chi square test with 30 respondents sample. Result : The result of this study is obtained that 14(46,7%) respondents expressed nurse caring behaviors are low and 16 (53,3%) respondents expressed nurse caring behaviors are high. Respondents who have the bad quality of life as many as 12 (40.0%) and respondents who have the good quality of life as many as 18 (60%). The results of chi square test with 95% credibility is obtained p value = 0,073 (α>0.05). It is concluded that there is no determine the correlation of nurse caring behavior that imbued with Charitas Spirituality toward the quality of life for hemodialisa patients at RS. RK. Charitas Palembang.
