Abstract

Background: Obstacles found in compiling nursing care documentation reports include self-efficacy and conformity in early semester students, which if not addressed will result in difficulties for nurses to become professionals in their field, measured in the nurse's role in documenting nursing care. Objective: This study aims to describe the Self-Efficacy and Conformity about Standards for Documentation of Nursing Care for Nursing and Nurse Study Program Students at Catholic University of Musi Charitas Palembang. Results: The majority of respondents were female as many as 73 respondents (79.3%), with a majority of the age of 19 years as many as 39 respondents (42.4%). The results of the study, self-efficacy variables that have a low level of self-efficacy as many as 91 respondents (98.9%), with the majority of female respondents as 72 respondents (78.26%) at the majority of the age of 19 years as 38 respondents (41.30 %). Conformity variables, the majority of respondents have moderate conformity as many as 82 respondents (89.1%), with the majority of female sex as 65 respondents (70.65%) at the majority of the age of 19 years as 36 respondents (39.13%). Variable of Deputy documentation, the majority of respondents were in accordance with the ascetic documentation standard as many as 47 respondents (51.1%), with the majority of respondents being female as many as 38 respondents (41.30%) with the majority of respondents aged 19 years as many as 18 respondents (19.57 %). Educational institutions are expected to create an atmosphere that can improve self-efficacy and student conformity so that they are confident in their ability to make insurance documents.
