Abstract

Palembang Furniture Center is a district of sales various types furniture. Palembang Furniture Center consist of several facilities, that is restaurant, café, bistro, showroom interior, office and others. All this facilities accommodate in one building. The aims of this Palembang furniture center are accommodate the furniture manufacturer in Palembang, be a means of educative tourism for local and foreign visitors, to introduce types of interior design with various furniture, and also to introduce furniture from Palembang. Futhermore, the existence of Palembang Furniture Center also can be an identity to unite various communityin Palembang. The theme of this Palembang Furniture Center is “Comfortable, Unique and Strong”. This theme embodied with a post modern metaphor architecture and green architecture.
