Abstract

The development of a web-based payroll application at PT Karya Yayu Abadi aims to improve efficiency and accuracy in the employee payroll process. This system is designed using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) methodology, which enables rapid development through an iterative approach. System modeling uses the Unified Modeling Language (UML). In the implementation phase uses the Java programming language and SQL Database. This application offers features such as employee data management, attendance validation, salary calculation, and automatic report generation. Previously, the payroll process was done manually, causing the risk of recording errors and delays. The new system integrates all data into one centralized platform with security based on username and password authentication. With this application, company administration can process payroll faster, reduce potential errors, and increase employee satisfaction
