Abstract
Business decision making is a crucial point in business activities. For this reason, this study aims to prove whether the characteristics of the owner/management, the ability to see opportunities, and the ability to improvise have a positive impact on business decision making. Using a sample of 118 (78.7%) businessmen respondents in the city of Palembang, the research hypothesis was tested using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) Partial Least Squares (PLS) analysis with Warp PLS software version 5.0. The results conclude that the characteristics of the owner/management, the ability to see opportunities, and the ability to improvise have a positive effect on business decision making in firms in Palembang.
