Abstract

This study aimed to examine the effect of board diversity on firm value. The population in this study are all companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2012. Samples were determined using a purposive sampling method. The study sample was obtained as 212 companies. Hypothesis testing using multiple regression analysis method with the help of the program R 2.11.1. The test results showed that the diversity of the board of directors affect firm value. Gender diversity negatively affect the value of the company while the diversity of citizenship does not affect the value of the company.
