Abstract
Background: Asthma is an obstructive airway disease characterized by airway narrowing which will result in dyspnea, coughing and wheezing according to the World Health Organization (WHO) in 2019, there are around 235 million people with asthma or 1% -18% of the world's population. Buteyko's breathing technique is to slow down the frequency of breathing to become normal, improve diaphragmatic (chest) breathing and learn to breathe through the nose. If done regularly, the asthma suffered becomes more controlled. Objective : This study aims to find out the effectiveness of the breathing technique before and after the buteyko breathing technique Methods : The quantitative research method is descriptive case study with the One Group Pretest-Posttest case analysis approach, the number of respondents in this study was 2 people. Result :Suggestion : It is hoped that the research that has been done can be developed by adding different respiratory frequency and pulse factors to find out the results of applying the Buteyko breathing technique Key Words : Buteyko Breathing Technique, Dyspnea, Asthma
