Abstract

PT Rehobot Emas Makmur is a company engaged in the printing sector. The main goal of the company is to produce products to meet consumer needs. In meeting consumer needs, companies must maintain the condition of the machine so that it can operate properly. For this reason, companies must increase the efficiency of production machines and reduce idle time due to damage and get maintenance schedules for production machines that can optimize profits and also minimize machine idle time by using the probability density function method to find out the right inspection schedule to minimize machine idle time. After processing the data and collecting data about the problems encountered, the damage analysis discussed is the time dependence mechanism. If inspection time and production equipment repair time follow an exponential distribution, then the failure rate is affected by the inspection level Keywords: planning machine maintenance, possibility function method.
