Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Research and Development (R&D) intensity and the size of the Board of Commissioners on the financial performance of pharmaceutical sub-sector manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period (2015-2021). The type of research used is quantitative associative type. Source of data used is secondary data. The sample used in this research is purposive sampling. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis with SPSS version 22. The results show that the R&D intensity variable has no effect on the financial performance of pharmaceutical sector manufacturing companies listed on the IDX and the size of the Board of Commissioners has a positive effect on financial performance in pharmaceutical sector manufacturing companies listed on the IDX.
