Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of the succession process, educational background, financial inclusion, and understanding of accounting on the success of the family business by focusing on family companies in the city of Palembang. The data used is primary data. The population in this study is a family company in the city of Palembang. The sampling technique used was simple random sampling and obtained 124 companies that responded. Hypothesis testing is performed by multiple regression analysis. The results of this study show that the succession process, educational background, financial inclusion, and understanding of accounting have a positive effect on the success of the family business.
