Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to determine whether there is an effect of investment knowledge and investment capital on investment intentions by focusing on students of the economics faculty in Palembang, especially investing in the capital market. The data used is primary data. The population in this study were students of the economics faculty in Palembang. The sampling technique used was cross sectional method. To test this research, 140 samples were used and questionnaires were distributed to students from universities that collaborated with the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The results of this study are that there is a significant positive effect between investment knowledge on investment intentions and there is a significant negative effect between investment capital on investment intentions.
