Abstract

Technological developments in this era have experienced various improvements quite rapidly. Among them can be seen the increasing number of automated systems that help human work to become more modern and also more practical, in this modern era the crime rate is quite high, especially in server theft, encouraging the creation of sophisticated tools called object detection tools in the server room in the Navigation District. Palembang Class I. A server is a computer that provides services to clients, so it needs to be equipped with high specifications and large storage media because it makes it easy for the server room to be broken into without the supervisor's knowledge. With this in mind, a security system is needed that works in real time when objects enter the server room. One of them is by using a human object detection tool based on the Raspberry Pi 3 B using the PCA (Principal Component Analysis) method. In this study, a security system for object detection was designed using face recognition based on Raspberry Pi 3 b using the PCA method. This system is made using CCTV connected to a raspberry pi 3 b and displayed using python with the OpenCV library. Based on the analysis results, it can be concluded that the object detection security system in this study can work optimally. This tool can display reporting results from monitoring using face recognition, to minimize the crime of theft against servers in the Palembang Class I Navigation District server room.
