Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the effect of profitability on dividend policy with liquidity as a moderating variable with a focus on banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange with research time in 2019-2021. The data used is secondary data. The population in this study are banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling method and obtained 47 companies with a total of 140 samples. Hypothesis testing is done by Moderate Regression Analysis. The results of this study indicate that liquidity is unable to moderate the relationship between profitability and dividend policy. Keywords: Profitability, dividend policy, liquidity.
