Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the effect of profitability ratios and liquidity ratios on financial distress in retail companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2018-2021. The type of data used is secondary data. The population in this study are retail companies listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange. The method used in selecting the sample is purposive sampling method. Obtained a population of 31 companies with a sample of 30 companies. Hypothesis testing using multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study show that the profitability ratio and liquidity ratio have no effect on financial distress.
