Abstract
This study aims to see whether there is an effect of GCG represented by the board of directors on financial distress with profitability as a moderating variable. The data used is secondary data. The population used in this study are all nonfinancial sector state-owned companies listed on the IDX in 2015-2021. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling method and 16 companies were obtained. The data analysis method used is Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA). The results show that profitability is able to moderate the relationship between the board of directors and financial distress. Keywords : Board of Directors, Financial Distress, Profitability
