Abstract

In improving company performance, one of the important things is work productivity because it can affect the results of the work and affect the services that can be offered by the company. Productivity itself can be influenced by several things, such as the work methods applied, physical boundaries by the workers themselves, supporting machines from the work itself, the materials / raw materials of the work itself, and also the work environment used to do the work. PT Shima Prima Utama itself, after observation, found that there were things that had not been optimized for productivity improvement, especially in the assembly hospital field which affected the way workers working in this field. ARC (Activity Relationship Chart) and also ARD (Activity Relationship Diagram) are one of the ways that can be used to arrange layouts based on the relationships between spaces observed and obtained in scale. The making of ARC and ARD is carried out based on observations and interviews with workers there to get an accurate scale so that the design of this layout can increase the productivity of workers at the Assembly Hospital itself.
