Abstract

Arnez De Lourdes, as one distribution company engaged in the distribution of medical equipment to the average demand for blood glucose monitoring system brand Bionime type GM 100 for 1 month as many as 55 units. Delivery of products is done in accordance with the demand of each outlet by means of land transportation at risk. This company has not been found in the existence of a planning and scheduling of product distribution activities are well coordinated, so that often the advantages and disadvantages resulting in frequent occurrence supplies reordering. Planning and scheduling of distribution activity or the Distribution Requirement Planning is needed to improve the distribution system, that lack or excess inventories can be avoided. Planning and scheduling activities of distribution using the DRP method of forecasting demand started to get requests the next six months. After getting the request then the request is made basic needs Bionime products GM 100, then calculate Safety Stock to see the safety stock, and followed by calculating Lot Size by using EOQ and L4L, then perform scheduling DRP. After that compares the total distribution, and obtained the best method that DRP with L4L Rp 4.393 million for the six months ahead, using the DRP provides 29.6% efficiency.
