Abstract
Needs are everything that must be met by humans to survive. Judging from the developments that are happening, human growth is increasing every year so it is very necessary to balance human thinking about education and productivity in order to maintain a balance of life that is obtained from knowledge, so that school is one way to make broad thoughts. In each development process, of course, through various stages ranging from design, construction, to finishing where the building can be used as a place for teaching and learning activities to take place. Writing this practical work discusses building construction, namely the process of working on structural beams and floor plates in school construction with comparisons based on field results with the theory taught in lectures.
