Abstract

PT Sinar Alam Permai is one industrial company engaged in the processing of palm oil into vegetable oil. The company produces 2,000 tons per month. Initial observations obtained at the environmental conditions are not maintained and very dirty especially when conducting cleanup activities. This is because at the time no cleaning tools used for cleaning, it also affects the condition of the floor is scuffed and easily broken and the waste strewn on the floor during cleaning caused by the absence of to accommodate the dregs. The company also regretted because the company must pay Rp 1,450,000 per month to justify the second floor to paint the walls scuffed and dirty. As this can be rectified by designing tools trolley cleanning that significant attention to the theory of ergonomics in creating tools and see aspects important aspect in creating such as the size of the average dimensions of the human body and the look of the aspects of the environment by analyzing methods Appropriate Technology or TTG, after it carried out the implementation to repair the damage done to improve environmental conditions or inadequate to make it look a very significant change after the repair. The design trolley cleanning-based ergonomics rectangular shape with a length of 200 cm, width tub front 130 cm, width of the tailgate 160 cm, high backrest 130 cm, height bathtub front 45 cm, height tailgate 70 cm, the diameter of the grip 5,5 cm, and 130 cm long peganggan, and there are additional dead rubber wheels on the bottom 3 pieces.
