Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there are differences in risk preferences based on demographic factors and psychological factors in Palembang community. The theory used in this research is the theory of behavior financial. The population of this study is the people who live in the city of Palembang. The sample in this research is 100 respondents. Sampling technique purposive sampling. Data analysis techniques used in this research are independent test of t-test, anova and mann whitney u. The results obtained show that different risk preferences due to different demographic factors and psychological factors. Keywords: Risk preference, Demographic factors, Psychology factors
