Abstract

This study aimed to examine the influence of democratic leadership style on the performance of teachers and employees of SMP Xaverius Maria Palembang. The sample used were 37 respondents with census method. Hypothesis testing using Simple Linear Regression Analysis using SPSS 23 program. The test result stated that democratic leadership style have positive and significant influence to teacher and employee performance. The test result states that the contribution of influence of democratic leadership style style and teacher and employee performance is 50,4% and the rest 49,6% influenced by other variable not included in this research. The test results show that the significant value is less than 0.05. In addition to the results of this study, the teachers to employees of SMP Xaverius Maria Palembang, always with the procedures or behaviors that tetah set and understanding the way leaders to improve the performance of teachers and employees.
