Abstract

In 2017, World Health Organization (WHO) reported that the Maternal Mortality Rate (MMR) was around 295,000 deaths due to pregnancy and childbirth. In Indonesia, the number of MMR was 305 per 100,000 Live Births (LB). The Health Office of Palembang city informed that there were 4 MMR cases per 26,837 LB. One of the efforts to reduce the MMR is to provide midwifery care service in forms of Continuity of Care (COC) This final project report provided midwifery care for pregnancy, postpartum, and neonates to Mrs. “D” G2P1A0 aged 25 years beginning from pregnancy, postpartum, and neonate. The data collection technique is using primary data and secondary data. The assessment results of subjective and objective data of Mrs. “D” showed that TM 3 (three) pregnancy, 6 day postpartum, and 6 day neonate were normal and the delivery was carried out with a Cesarean section on the indication of low amniotic fluid on the basis of the doctor examination. It is suggested that the health workers improve the midwifery care service and quality based on the set standard.
