Abstract
UKM Farida’s engaged in snacks such as cakes toothpick. For making toothpick way is quite simple, the raw materials are mixed and then stirred until smooth and then pressed, then rolled, after the process of frying and packing. In the milling process, the results of the resulting dough is still not perfect so it still takes a long process because workers had to cut the dough twice the results. Tool grinder toothpick cake designed using appropriate technology. Mill cake toothpick use of stainless steel measuring 16 cm long and 0.6 cm in diameter and then to the frame with a length of 17.5 cm, width 11 cm, height 20 cm using the brackets for a total of Rp 480,000, - for payback period is 5 days. Tools already in this design further accelerate the grinding process time (20 seconds). Cake with toothpick grinder that has been in the design workers do not need to cut twice to the grinding process.
