Abstract

ABSTRACT The study is conducted with a purpose of knowing the competence and job discipline that will affect the performance of Elementary School teachers in the city of palembang. The data used in this study are the primary data. The population in research was an elementary school teacher in the city of palembang. The sample retrieval technique used in this study is an impressive sampling technique and is obtained of 100 sample teachers with a total population of 7,079 teachers. Hypothetical testing was done using multiple regression analysis. The results obtained in this study are competence variables that have no positive and significant effect on the performance of school teachers (SD) in the city of palembang and the discipline variable may have a positive and significant impact on elementary school teachers (SD) in the city of palembang.
