Abstract

At this time, there are still many workers at the mineral water depot still manually transferring gallons of mineral water which can cause the risk of Musculoskeletal Disorders. A lifting load of 16-34 kg requires the intercession of certain tools.. One gallon of water is full, the average weight is 19 kg. Therefore, to lift or move a 19 kg gallon of mineral water, it is necessary to use a tool. Based on the results of research using an anthropometric approach, a gallon of mineral water transfer aid was designed with dimensions of height 61.81 cm, side of tool 35 cm, handle length 43.93 cm, handle height 96.81 cm, width foam grip 10.22 cm , The circumference of the grip foam is 16.34 cm. Based on the Nordic Body Map, muscle complaints in the body (right and left) experienced an average decrease of 51.75%. Based on the questionnaire distributed to 30 workers at the mineral water refill depot, Talang Kelapa Village, that with a gallon of mineral water transfer device, it can reduce the risk of pain in the waist up to 16 workers, sprained hands 21 workers, back pain 16 workers, Muscle fatigue of 25 workers, and the risk of dropping a gallon to reduce 12 workers.
