Abstract
THE COMPATIBILITY OF FAIRY TEXT WITH BASIC COMPETENCY THEME CARE FOR THE SOCIAL ENVIRONMENT CLASS III ELEMENTARY SCHOOL This study aims to determine the suitability of fairy tale texts with basic competencies in teaching materials given to students in elementary schools. This research has a research limitation, which is up to the expert validation stage. This study adapts the research procedures of Miles and Huberman. This research was conducted with the stages of data validation using the researcher's triangulation method. The subjects in this study were the basic materials and competencies in learning Indonesian for class III Elementary School with expert validation data collection techniques. From the results of research and discussion, it is concluded as follows: basic competence with fairy tale texts is appropriate and can be seen from the characters/characters, setting, point of view and mandate in the content of the fairy tale text.
