Abstract

Background: languaStres is the response of a person's body to an unpleasant condition or environment, in which a person notices the presence of demands beyond the limits of his abilities. A nursing student is someone who is truly prepared to serve a professional nurse in the future. Clinical practice aims to develop the competence of Nursing students and clinical practice in order to provide more insights to develop effective clinical teaching strategies in nursing education. Masa pandemic COVID-19 merupakan sebuah wabah penyakit akibat dari coronavirus. Di Indonesia prevalensi kasus COVID-19 pertanggal 10 Maret 2022 mencapai 5.847.900 positif COVID-19, yang sembuh 5.296.634 jiwa dan 151.414 jiwa meninggal. Because this can stress nursing students in the profession and make students get COVID-19 Research Objectives: To find out an overview of the stress level of professional nursing students while practicing clinics in hospitals during the COVID-19 Pandemic. Method: This type of quantitative research uses a quantitative descriptive design. This research was conducted by the Faculty of Health Sciences, Musi Charitas Catholic University on June 29 - July 2, 2022. The sample consisted of 51 respondents with a total sampling method. Results: the age characteristics of the majority of students were 23 years old as many as 30 respondents (62,5%), the gender characteristics of the majority of students were women as many as 37 people (77,1%), and the characteristic stress level of the majority of students was mild stress 31 respondents (64,6%). Advice: to students to maintain a healthy lifestyle by eating healthy foods, exercising regularly, listening to musi that makes our hearts happy and also being able to do other positive things.
