Abstract
ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the differences in learning motivation and academic achievement for students who take tutoring and those who do not attend tutoring held at school. This type of research uses quantitative research using purposive sampling method. The respondents of this study were (86) people. Data collection uses a scale and the data is analyzed using the Normality Test, Homogeneity Test, Independent T Test, ANOVA Test and Multiple Comparitions Test. The results showed that there were significant results between academic achievement and tutoring which got significant results, namely 0.018 while for the results of differences for academic achievement and learning motivation using the ANOVA test the results were 0.000 so that the results showed that there were significant differences. Meanwhile, to see the results of the differences in each group using the Multiple Comparitions Test in the low group with medium and high values, namely 0.575 and 0.001, there was a significant difference in the medium group with low and high values, namely 0.575 and 0.000, while there was no significant difference in the high group with high scores. low and medium are 0.001 and 0.000
