Abstract

This study aims to find out how (1) the results of the validation of the prototype learning media for comics theme 8 (2) Operational Product Revision learning media for comics theme 8 for grade II students of SD Baptist Palembang. This research is a Research and Development (R&D) research that adapts Borg and Gall development research procedures. This research has research limitations, namely until the product revision stage after field trials. This research was conducted in stages, namely needs analysis, comic design, expert validation and field trials. The subjects in the study consisted of principals and elementary school teachers who became informants in the needs analysis stage, experts in the field of learning media development, and 2nd grade students of SD Baptist Palembang. The result of the research is that comics are declared valid after being tested by experts in their field, the normality test shows the results of 0.111 <0.05, which means the data is normal. The average results of the comic media effectiveness test showed 59.93%.
