Abstract

Background: Immunization is important in health services that protect vulnerable individuals from diseases that can be prevented by immunization. Objective: This study aims to determine the analysis of the relationship between the role of posyandu cadres and the provision of complete basic immunization for toddlers at the Talang Ratu Health Center. Methods: quantitative research with analytical serve design, total sampling technique, the population in this study amounted to 40 respondents and the sample in this study was 40 respondents, the statistical test used was Kendal tau. The instruments used are cadre role questionnaires, observation sheets and KIA books for data collection on 02-04 August 2022. Results: The results of the univariate research showed that the average age of the respondents was 29 years old, the majority of respondents' occupations were as housewives (IRT) as many as 32 (80%) respondents. education of the majority of respondents with high school education as many as 28 (70%) respondents, the provision of complete basic immunization for toddlers at the Talang Ratu Health Center was more incomplete as many as 21 (52.5%) respondents. The results of the bivariate study showed that there was a moderate positive relationship between the role of cadres and the provision of complete basic immunization with a value (τ = 0.366; P-value = 0.020). Suggestion: respondents can provide an overview of the importance of immunization
