Abstract

The number of victims of sexual violence against children is increasing every year, in 2021 there were 7,545 child victims of sexual violence. The age group of children becomes victims of sexual violence because children are positioned as weak and are considered to have very limited ability to protect themselves. Objective: This study aims to determine the description of knowledge in efforts to prevent sexual violence in fourth grade children. Methods: This research was conducted at SD N 146 Gandus Palembang on 30-31 May 2022. This type of research was quantitative using a descriptive design. The population in this study were all fourth graders at SD N 146 Gandus Palembang. The sample consists of 63 respondents with a total sampling method. Collecting data using a questionnaire. Statistical test using univariate test.
