Abstract

RW Clothing Store is one of the stores engaged in clothing that sells various types of clothes ranging from blouses, minimalism, casual, Korean style, dressesand also caftans in Palembang. Based on the results of observations and interviews with the owner of the RW Clothing Store, it was found that the problems that caused the decline in income at the RW Clothing Store, namely the covid-19 pandemic, high clothing prices and also types of clothes that were not updated. The next step is to use the funneling marketing method, this funneling marketing method is to turn a potential customer into a buyer. This concept can provide an understanding of a person's cognitive stages when purchasing a product or service. This method is divided into 4 stages starting from attention, interest, desire and action. After the implementation of the funneling marketing method, a normality test and also a different test were carried out to determine whether changes to the funneling marketing method had a significant change. The normality test of the data before implementation got the results of Sig 0.109 > 0.05 and the normality test of the data after the implementation got the results of Sig Sig 0.213 > 0.05, both data were normal. After the Independent T-Test was carried out, the results before the implementation were Sig 0.012 < 0.05, so there were significant changes from before implementation and after implementation, the results were Sig 0.013 < 0.05, so there were significant changes using the funneling marketing method, as many as 17 people. who came to the store through posters that had been distributed through social media. Sales increased after implementation, which from March before implementation was sold as many as 310 pieces and in May when implementation was sold as many as 364 pieces.
