Results: The majority of the results showed that the initial age of the elderly was 44 respondents (59.5%), female gender was 56 respondents (75.7%), high school education level was 29 respondents (39.2%), the duration of suffering was new (1- 5 years) 34 respondents (45.9%), blood pressure stage 2 hypertension was 41 respondents (55.4%), before self-efficacy education was sufficient 46 respondents (62.2%), after good self-efficacy education 54 respondents ( 73%). The results of the Wilcoxon test showed that there was a difference before and after emergency education in patients with hypertension with a p value of 0.00 <0.05.
