Abstract

Nusantara has long history about the influence of Hinduism, and Buddhism. Srivijaya kingdom was one of the old era kingdom that establish in Nusantara, with capital kingdom namely Palembang city. Srivijaya kingdom that centered in city of Palembang ever been an international Buddhism lectur center. Nowday, city of Palembang still has pretty much follower of Buddhism, that can be seen from Palembang city central bureau statistic. and has increased from 2019 to now (2022). The followers of Buddhism in the city of Palembang consist of 3 schools (Triyana), namely: Theravada, Mahayana, and Vajrayana. Currently, there is no Vihara in the city of Palembang that can accommodate the 3 schools of Buddhism in one area, and designed with a "Buddhist philosophy" approach. In this report try to realize a vihara design that can accommodate the 3 Buddhist schools with a Buddhist philosophical approach, as well as being able to remember the past history of the Srivijaya kingdom which became national pride, especially for the city of Palembang.
