Abstract

ABSTRACT The background of this research is the lack of the using learning media in teaching and learning process in schools. This research is entitled "Mapping the Needs and Use of 3D Learning Media in Elementary Schools in Ilir Timur II District Palembang". The purpose of this research is to determine the needs and use of 3D media in elementary schools using analyze method. This research is a qualitative research, which is the research has a natural background, descriptive, more concerned with processes, tends to analyze data, and focuses on meaning. Data collection method is by interviews. From the interviews to five teachers in five elementary schools, we know that they need 3D learning media and never used it. From the results and discussion it can be concluded that all schools need 3D learning media and never used it. Keywords: Needs analysis, qualitative, learning media, 3D media
