Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this research is to find out cash holding’s ability to moderate the effect of leverage towards financial distress. The periods used in this research are 2013-2016. The population of this research is manufacturing company listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange. The samples are selected using purposive sampling method with a total of 137 companies. Data analysis method used to test the hypothesis is the logistic regression with moderation and using the help of SPSS version 23 program. Based on the research result, cash holding can moderate the effect of leverage towards financial distress. Keyword : leverage, financial distress, cash holding
