Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of firm size, leverage, and growth opportunity on cash holding in manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2015-2017 period. The research method used was purposive sampling with a total sample of 321 companies. Data analysis method used is descriptive statistical test, classic assumption test, f test, t test and test coefficient of determination. Testing the hypothesis in this study using the t test shows that firm size has no effect on cash holding, leverage has a negative effect on cash holding, and growth opportunity has no effect on cash holding.
