Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to analyze the influence of intellectual capital and industry type on the financial performance of companies listed in the Kompas100 index in Indonesia Stock Exchange. The population in this study are companies listed in the Kompas100 index period 2015-2017. The sample in this study consisted of 49 companies for 3 years that produce 147 sample data. Independent variables include intellectual capital and industry type. The dependent variable is financial performance measured using Return On Assets (ROA). Data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis. Hypothesis testing using t test. The results prove that intellectual capital has a positive effect on the company's financial performance Kompas100 index period 2015-2017. While the type of industry negatively affect the company's financial performance Kompas100 index period 2015-2017.
