Abstract
This research aims to determine whether participation budgeting, organizational commitment, and adequacy of the budget may affect job satisfaction and employee performance. This research was conducted in the field of hospitality services companies in the city of Palembang. The data obtained is the data derived from primary data by distributing 125 questionnaires to managers. Of the 125 questionnaires distributed only 72 questionnaires can be processed with the rate of return of 58 %. Hypothesis testing using multiple regression method with SPSS ver.20. Test results showed that the first hypothesis (H1) who stated that the budgetary participation influence on job satisfaction, rejected. The second hypothesis (H2) which states that organizational commitment influence on job satisfaction, accepted. The third hypothesis (H3) stating that the budget adequacy effect on job satisfaction, rejected. The fourth hypothesis (H4) stating that the budgetary participation influence on employee performance, acceptable. The fifth hypothesis (H5) which states that affect organizational commitment to employee performance, rejected. The sixth hypothesis (H6) which states that the adequacy of the budget affect the performance of employees, received.
