Abstract

Technical High School Musi Palembang is one Catholic college in Palembang. Based on observations, made use of computers by students in the learning process or learning in the laboratory, thus resulting in computer anxiety of students can develop expertise among them. Computer users among students majoring in Computer Science and Information Systems as many as 57 students serve as research subjects. Therefore, this study took the title of the influence of computer anxiety on student skills in using computers at the Technical High School Musi Palembang The method of collecting data using interviews, questionnaires point rating scale with 1 (one) to 5 (five). Data analysis techniques using the product moment correlation coefficient, and using the SPSS application. Testing the validity of using the product moment correlation and reliability testing using cronbach negligent. Based on the results of research conducted, is expected to determine the effect of computer anxiety of expertise.
