Abstract
This study aims to provide empirical evidence about the influence of ownership structure on the profitability of manufacturing companies in Indonesia. The population used in this study are all companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2012, 2013, and 2014. By using purposive sampling method, obtained a total sample of 60 companies. Based on the hypothesis test using SPSS ver. 17.0 the results obtained from the testing of two independent variables, institutional ownership and managerial ownership does not have a significant effect on profitability. Keywords: Profitability, institutional ownership and managerial ownership.
