Abstract

Analysis of Profitability, Liquidity, Asset Growth, And Size Of Company, Capital Structure (Under the Guidance Desy Lesmana, SE, M.Sc., Ak., CA, BKP.) This study aims to determine the effect of profitability, liquidity, asset growth, and the size of the company on the capital structure. Type of research is causal comparative research. The population in this study all manufacturing companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange 2011-2014 period. The number of samples in this study were as many as 41 companies manufacturing for a period of 4 years were selected based on criteria defined in the study with purposive sampling technique. Data analysis techniques in this study consisted of descriptive statistical tests, test classic assumption (normality test, multicolinearity, heterokedastisitas test, and autocorrelation test), and hypothesis testing using t test and F test Based on the formulation of the problem posed and the results of the analysis and discussion of which has been obtained, then the conclusion can be drawn, among others, is that the profitability and liquidity proved negative effect on the capital structure while asset growth and company size has no effect on the capital structure. Based on the R value determination analysis shows that all independent variables in this study are profitability, liquidity, asset growth and the size of the company has a percentage of 57.7% influence on the capital structure while the remaining 42.3% is influenced by other factors outside of the independent variables in the study this.
