Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of political connection and ownership structure on company performance. The data used in this study is secondary data. The population in this study is a manufacturing company on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in the 2017-2020 time period. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling method and obtained 164 companies with a total of 443 samples. Hypothesis testing is done by multiple linear analysis with the help of SPSS ver. 25. The results of the research carried out are that connection politic has a positive effect on company performance and ownership structure has no effect on company performance.
