Abstract

Bihun Mulia Factory is one of businesses engaged in food with production in the form of bihun branded “Bihun Suka Tani”. Because of the drying process that has a long distance makes bihun accumulated. Researcher used the Computerized Relative Allocation of Facilities Technique (CRAFT) method with input from to chart (FTC) and rectilinier distance to produce a facility layout with shorter milage while lowering the material handling cost. The result of the proposed layout reduce the distance and material handling cost within 1 day business by 2.472,92 m and Rp 7.309,05.
